Competitions, prizes and awards are a great way for you to gain experience for your CV and often some cash or work experience. Many competitions require you to work in a team / produce innovative ideas / work to a brief / write a report, all great skills to put on your CV even if you don't win!

  • L'Oreal Brandstorm Competition Annual competition to innovate the next generation of retail. The 2025 winners got a free Adobe account and a 3-month internship in L'Oreal Paris. Closing date: check site
  • The Foundation for the Rights of Future Generations (FRFG) and the Intergenerational Foundation (IF) Write 5,000-8,000 words in English or German to address the subject of 'Intergenerational Justice'. Prize money totalling €5,000 will be shared among the winning entries. Closing date: 31 December 2025, 23:59 (GMT).

  • Clean Tech Challenge Create impactful solutions that address climate change. Hosted by London Business School, teams will compete for 2 prizes: The GSC GO RE-Think Cleantech Award (£20,000) and the Sky Zero Award (£20,000). Closing date: December 1st (individual applications) or January 16th (team applications).
  • Tax Problem Question Competition Submit an answer of up to 1,000 words to this year’s problem question. First Prize – £750 and a mini-pupillage, runner-up prizes of up to £500 at judges’ discretion. Closing date: 16th January 2026 at 5pm (GMT)
  • LCN Student Law Society Awards 2026 Take the Law Student Society survey now to be entered into a prize draw to win an £100 Amazon Voucher. Go to the link to find out more about previous winners, the awards on offer and to complete the survey. Closing date: 16th January 2026.
  • Undergraduate of The Year Awards 2026 The Undergraduate of the Year Awards is an annual competition for UK undergraduates. Prizes include paid internships, international travel, and exclusive networking opportunities. Closing date: 26 January 2026, 09:00 (GMT).
  • Accuracy Construction Championship 2026 A competition in construction project advisory, offering an opportunity for students to test their skills in a real-life construction advisory case study. Students will get a free trip to Accuracy's offices in London and will get the chance to network with consultants in the evening awards ceremony in March 2026. Awards are valued at around £100 pp. Closing date: 30th January 2026, 12:00 (GMT)
  • Accuracy Business Cup Complete a finance and strategy projects competition, as a group of three, focused on the automotive sector. If you're selected for the competition you will receive a free trip to London. If you win the competition, you will receive a free trip to Paris. Closing Date: 30 January 2026, 23:59 (GMT).
