The Careers service is here to support and help you to navigate your next steps.
We aim to offer a flexible and accessible service to students and graduates by offering appointments and events via a mixture of online and on campus delivery. We hope that wherever you are, you can join us.
Appointments and 1-1s
All of our appointments are bookable online via our CareerConnect portal. You will find a choice of dates and may be able to choose from online or on campus appointments.
- CV review appointments Use our online tools to get started, then book a 1-1 meeting to review your CV before using it to apply for a job or course.
- Application review appointments Includes cover letters, personal statements and application forms.
- Careers advice and guidance appointments Get advice on career planning, looking for opportunities and building your skills. Longer appointments are available to discuss the impact of a disability or health concern on career planning.
- Interview simulations Practice answering interview questions and receive feedback to build confidence.
- Drop-in advice No booking needed, turn up at our locations on campus or online.
Key dates
During these periods the Drop-in desk in the Atrium will be closed and all services will run online.
- 14 December 2024 - 26 January 2025 winter vacation
- 12 April - 11 May 2025 Easter vacation
- 7 June 2025 until welcome week for summer vacation
