Marking and Assessment Boycott

We understand that you may be concerned about the potential impact of the University and College Union (UCU) nationwide marking and assessment boycott on your recruitment.

For the latest information on the national marking and assessment boycott please refer to our FAQ page about the Marking and Assessment Boycott.

Will this affect the offers of employment my company or organisation has made?

The Institute for Student Employers (ISE) have published guidance for employers and recruiters on the impact of the boycott. We are encouraging any students with conditional offers from an employer to get in touch with that employer to share any concerns. We hope that employers will be understanding of the situation.

The Careers Service supporting recruiters

The University of Manchester Careers Service will endeavour to update this page with information and guidance when it becomes available, so please check back regularly.
