How many SEIs can I apply for?

If you are in receipt of a bursary or financial support from the University, you are able to apply for as many SEIs as you wish. If you do not receive a bursary or financial support you can apply for a maximum of 3 SEIs.

Will I be working remotely or in-person?

SEI internships are delivered through a mixture of in-person, remote and hybrid working. Further details of the mode of working for each internship are available on each individual SEI advert on CareerConnect.

Can I undertake more than one SEI opportunity?

No. You can only undertake one SEI during your time at the University. Once you have accepted an offer, your application will be withdrawn from any other SEI opportunities.

What happens after I've submitted my application?

Your application will be forwarded to the hiring manager for shortlisting. If successful, you will be invited to an interview. As part of the interview process, you may be asked to complete a short task or prepare a presentation.

How many applications do we receive for SEI roles?

The number of applications varies depending on the internship. Some roles are very popular but others only get a handful of applications.
