Ask Me About

Ask a question to a University of Manchester graduate doing your dream job!

Don’t know what to do next? Know exactly what you want? Ask Me About lets you ask for short-term, careers related advice from as many mentors as you want through our very own professional social network: The Manchester Network.

All students, as well as staff and alumni of The University of Manchester, are welcome to connect with volunteer mentors using Ask Me About. You can ask for advice from someone working in your prefered industry via email or telephone concerning lots of topics, most commonly:

  • Reviewing a CV
  • Reviewing a job application
  • Assistance with a degree project

You might even be able to find some opportunities or advice concerning work shadowing, work experience, internships and jobs.

There are no limits to how many people you can contact and you can access the Manchester Network even after you graduate.
