Manchester Global Graduates Programme 2017

Global Graduates is an exclusive programme for students at The University of Manchester giving them the opportunity to meet with alumni in one of our host cities across the world.

Thanks to the generous funding of donors, in partnership with the University, we’ve been able to send groups of undergraduate students to seven cities across the globe since the programme launched in 2012.

Applications for Global Graduates 2017 are now closed.

What Global Graduates means for you

Employers are increasingly seeking to recruit ‘global graduates’ – graduates who see the world through a wider lens and who have both global knowledge and cultural agility. The Global Graduate programme is designed to give you the skills employers are looking for.

Over the course of their visits, our selected participants will visit a range of host organisations, meeting with alumni and representatives to learn more about their businesses, roles, opportunities and their cities.

You’ll consider the economic climate, working culture, business practices and areas for future growth. You’ll also be expected to play an ambassadorial role for The University of Manchester and share information about key developments for the institution.

Through your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to both practice and develop your existing skills, to start building your professional networks and to increase your understanding of your employability.

I really enjoyed my time in Singapore, both within the interviews we conducted, and in Singapore in general. The programme was well managed and the help and support received was near faultless.Previous participant on Global Graduates
