Your Future Essentials
We are delighted to bring you our programme of live Face-to-Face and Online Workshops.
Your Future Essentials workshops will focus on a variety of different Careers and Employability topics in hour long sessions with the opportunity to ask questions of our Careers Team afterwards. These will take place on campus in the Atrium at University Place, as well as online via Zoom.
There’s a Your Future Essentials workshop to help you, not matter what stage you’re at. Whether you’re just starting to explore your option or getting ready to apply for your next step, Your Future Essentials will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need to prepare for your future.

If I missed a session this semester, can I still access it?
Yes of course! We realise we have students based in many different countries where time zones are different. We also know many of our students are working, have caring responsibilities, academic commitments, and lots of other things going on. It’s okay - you can access a range of videos including our online workshop sessions on our Careers Service YouTube Channel. Some sessions will only be held in certain terms, but you can access YouTube whenever you need to.
Can I request a topic?
Yes, we are really keen to hear from our students on what would help you during this time. Contact us through the Questions function in CareerConnect with your request and we will try to accommodate these.
