Monday 30/01
- Finding a Job in the UK, 1pm: Are you new to the UK? Adapting to a new country can be daunting, especially when trying to find a job. In this session we run through the things you need to know to secure employment while you are in the UK.
Tuesday 31/01
- Winter Warmer Free Breakfast/Meet your Services Showcase, 8.30am – 10am: Pop in for your free breakfast, browse our stands and chat to colleagues from a range of University services including Careers Service, Disability Advisory and Support Services, Library/AGLC, Peer Support, Sustainability, Volunteering.
- Work Experience, Placements and Internships, 1pm: Many students want to find some form of work experience while at university; experience, skills, and money are all useful! In this session we will explore how you can go about finding these opportunities while at university and what support is available.
Wednesday 01/02
- Applying for Graduate Roles, 1pm: Are you graduating soon? Final year can go by extremely quickly, and before you know it you’ll be thinking what next? In this session, we will look at what you need to be thinking about and doing so you can maximise your chances of finding the job you really want when you finish.
