1. All nominations must be made via the website, http://www.careers.manchester.ac.uk/volunteeroftheyear.
  2. The deadline for nominations is Friday 23rd March 2012.
  3. For staff and student categories the nominee must be a member of the university as of 10th May 2012.
  4. Recipients of awards from the 2007 pilot scheme or 2010 or 2011 Awards will not be eligible.
  5. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. The University of Manchester reserve the right to publish the nominations and seek/issue publicity on behalf of all nominees and nominators.
  7. The University of Manchester reserves the right to refuse any nomination for any reason considered justifiable.
  8. No responsibility is accepted by The University of Manchester in respect of the past or future activity of any individual in receipt of award.
  9. Awards are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
