Welcome to the Pakistan Graduate Job Fair at The University of Manchester

In association with The British Council, Pakistan

The University of Manchester is delighted to welcome 17 Pakistan organisations to campus to meet our students and hire for 2012/13.


Why attend?

This is an excellent opportunity to find out about graduate opportunities for 2012 entry; internships and what employers want from graduates returning to Pakistan after UK study.


Who is it for?

The fair is open to Manchester students from Pakistan in all years of study. Exhibitors are also particularly keen to meet final year students from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and China looking to work in Pakistan. Employers are recruiting across all sectors, but with a particular focus upon scientists, engineers, IT and business.

Students from The University of Salford, Manchester Metropolitan University, Leeds University, Sheffield University and Cardiff University are welcome to attend this fair.

Creating your own enterprise and turning into a multi-national in Pakistan

Potential of entrepreneurship & Social entrepreneurship in Pakistan

We are delighted to welcome Mr Faraz Khan of Seed Ventures to Manchester who will be giving a lecture following the close of the fair. Mr Faraz Khan is a UK based Pakistani social entrepreneur who believes in bringing about positive change in society through entrepreneurship and trade.

This session is particularly targeted towards Pakistani students, although other international students and staff with a particular interest in social entrepreneurship are also welcome to attend.
