LiveGuidance
With our LiveGuidance service (new for 2009) you can talk to one of our careers consultants and other specialists about your careers plans in a live, 1-2-1 IM chat via the website even if you can't come in for an appointment. You can get a transcript of your chat sent to you by email after the discussion, and we even have evening sessions for students and graduates who are busy during the daytime.
To access LiveGuidance you don't need to book an appointment time in advance. Just check out our availability on this page, and when a session is running you'll see a link to log in and access the chat. Individual chats usually last around 15 minutes, so if the session is busy, you may have to wait to talk to the consultant. Our general sessions are intended for general careers information and advice. If you have more specialised questions you may be advised to call us on 0161 275 2829 to book a face-to-face or telephone appointment with an appropriate careers consultant for your specialist area.
