What to include in your email
- Your name
- Your ID number
- Degree subject and year of graduation
- Please state why you are unable to use the drop in service this will have an impact on the type of resources and services you are referred to.
If you are sending a CV, cover letter or application for advice
- State what job and company you are applying to
- Read our guidelines and handouts this will help you get more specific advice.
- We can help you construct or adapt applications, but cannot provide a detailed proofreading service, or check every application you send.
We aim to reply within five working days - excluding periods where the University is closed.
Not all questions can be successfully answered by email. If you are able to visit the Careers Service the following options may offer more comprehensive information and advice: Quick Query Service, Guidance Appointments, Information Services.
