How you can recruit our students
Advertising your vacancies
Advertising your vacancies couldn't be simpler and it is free of charge.
All vacancies are managed through our CareersLink system. All University of Manchester students and graduates have access to all vacancies in CareersLink and are able to set-up automatic email alerts to be notified about new jobs matching their own criteria.
Internships and work experience placements
Our existing international students and recent graduates often seek project work and employment experience when returning to their home country during their study vacations or after graduation, to develop their skills and experience. Students are usually available for a few weeks to a number of months, either filling positions or undertaking consultancy-based projects for businesses.
Careers fairs
We have an established reputation for running a wide programme of annual careers fairs during the year. On average 3,000 students and graduates from a number of institutions attend each of our fairs. All fair exhibitors appear on our associated careers fairs web pages.
Mentoring / e-Mentoring
This can be an excellent way to raise awareness of your organisation on campus, even from the other side of the globe, to develop the coaching skills of your staff and to help international students improve their skills and increase their industry awareness.
Each year we have over 200 mentoring partnerships, including our long distance e-mentoring relationships.
Graduate profiles
Provide a comprehensive and accurate view of your organisation by letting graduates talk about their experiences, including what their job involves, a typical week, challenging and rewarding aspects of the job, and tips for current students.
On-campus interviewing
While in the UK, why not use our facilities for interviewing? Many companies use our premises as a regional centre for interviewing candidates based in the North West or across the UK.
Our facilities include interview rooms, seminar rooms and testing rooms and refreshments, all at a competitive rate. We will do everything we can to ensure you have a comfortable day.
