Nearby Silicon Valley is home to the headquarters of 39 of USA’s most lucrative companies as well as thousands of smaller start-ups. San Francisco’s Mission Bay is the USA’s flagship for innovation in the biotechnology industry and the city is leading the way in business related to pharmaceutical products, medical electronics and genetic engineering.
