My Future Fest

Wednesday 6 February, 10:30am – 4pm, University Place

Roll up, roll up ... Make 2019 Spectacular

Start the second semester off as you mean to go on by coming to University Place for My Future Fest. This year’s event is packed with opportunities to inspire you to make the most of your time at Manchester.

We’re mixing Carnival with Circus to bring you games, giveaways, competitions, candy floss, popcorn but more importantly a chance to explore a wide range of opportunities and activities that will challenge you and develop your skills, alongside your degree. There’ll be internships and work experience on offer, volunteering opportunities and travel both in the UK and abroad, plus information about further study. Organisations attending include Camp America, National Citizen Service, CRCC Asia and Frontline.

The Careers Service team will also be on hand to help with advice on applications, CVs and Interviews, Psychometric Testing, how to create a great LinkedIn profile, as well as information about our own Student Experience Internships, Work Experience Bursaries, Global Graduate Programme and more.

Looking for some new things to get involved with this semester? Feel lost and confused when thinking about your next steps?

Pop into Uni Place to find out more about what’s available to you. It all helps, one step at a time. And if that doesn’t convince you there will be plenty of freebies and food giveaways for those that come along.

Discover your future

If you’re in your final year hunting for a graduate job, the Manchester Graduate Talent team will be on hand to talk about the paid graduate roles offered exclusively to University of Manchester Students who graduate in 2019. If you’re thinking about further study after graduation the team from FindAUniversity will be on hand to talk about postgraduate study options.
